5-Ingredient PB&J Balls {Gluten & Dairy Free}

These PB&J balls are the perfect way to satisfy a PB&J craving without slathering on calorie-filled peanut butter and sugary grape jelly!

You simply cannot go wrong with combining nuts and dates in my opinion. I have tried so many variations of these types of snacks, but thought it would be fun to make a PB&J version. The great thing is you get the flavors of a peanut butter and jelly sandwich without sugary, processed jelly, calorie-filled peanut butter, and bread. I love these little gems of a snack and I hope you will to. With only 5-ingredients, they couldn’t be simpler to make, and they taste great right out of the freezer.

You know, at least I hope you know at this point, that I love a good visual. Just peruse through my last 10 posts or so and it will be clear. Of course I did not let you down on this recipe. Click the link below to watch them being made.

5-ingredients, 1-minute of your time, and you ready to roll (literally)!

5-Ingredient PB&J Balls {Gluten Free & Dairy Free}

20-25 balls (depending on size)

  1. In a food processor or blender, process 1 cup of Thrive Red Seedless Grapes into a powder.
  2. Stir 1/2 cup water into the grape powder to form a paste. Set aside.
  3. Put 1/2 cup Thrive Peanut Flour into a bowl or shallow dish and set aside.
  4. Take the pits out of 2 cups Medjool dates.
  5. Process the pitted dates, 1 cup almonds, 1 cup cashews, and grape paste together.
  6. Roll the mixture into balls, then roll in the peanut flour.
  7. Refrigerate or freeze, and enjoy!

I like to keep mine frozen and just pop one out when I need a snack! They are still wonderfully soft.

Hopefully from my posts you can see how versatile Thrive products are. I don’t expect myself, or any of my customers to use 100% Thrive in their cooking, but you bet that I use my Thrive products at LEAST 10% of the time when I cook. Every time I save time, waste less, or make killer recipes like this, I am so glad I discovered Thrive.
