Have you seen the bags of chocolate-dipped freeze-dried strawberries at Costco? When I passed a bag of those today, I thought, hey, I can just do that myself at home. And guaranteed our strawberries are WAY better tasting. Turns out. I was right.
This treat is so simple! It is almost too good to be true. They are perfect for Valentine’s Day, but could be so versatile for other holidays as well. All you have to do is change the sprinkles to match the season. Also, why limit yourself to just strawberries. The pineapple is fantastic dipped in chocolate, as well as the raspberries, and bananas. Yum!
All you need for these are sliced strawberries and Chocolate or Vanilla Almond Bark. Alternately, you could use your favorite meltable chocolate chip. And of course, these wouldn’t be totally complete without some cute Valentine’s sprinkles.
These really are so easy. I love that they are just as cute and tasty without having to dip the entire strawberry slice in. You definitely COULD dip the whole slice if you want to, but watch the video below to see how quick and easy the process is with a quick little half-dip. I hope you love them as much as we do. These will definitely be going to my son’s school Valentine’s Day party.
